Karl Lagerfeld's recent work has been all over the internet.  Since seeing a few close-ups of the models via Twitter (not to mention amazing remarks from the likes of Bernadette Mora and Lisa Tant), I couldn't help but collect a few of my favourite looks here.  Wish I could have more pictures of the venue.  The Chateau de Versailles looked like the absolute perfect setting.

Derek Blasberg likened the looks to "Marie Antoinette in denim."  I think the line is also reminicent of Effie Trinket from Hunger Games.

Don't tell me you can't see her on that runway.

Valentino Spring 2012 Collection

How gorgeous are these gowns?  Love the use of organza and the colour pallate.  Very Jane Austin-esque.
Definitely an inspiration for my spring wardrobe.

Also love the makeup here - model in the middle looks flawless.
