Annie Leibovitz for Disney Dream Portraits

What an amazing gallery! Jasmine was always my fave (obviously). Who was yours?

I bet you'll say Belle.

Looks for Less: How to Dress like Rihanna

Image via Kiss 92.5

Take a note from her team: "We're going for an easygoing, stripped-down thing that's not too showy, because we're doing these small shows," Ottenberg tells E! News. "It's really just sort of inspired by her jet-set lifestyle." This post in particular will focus on what she wore to her performance in Toronto during the 777 Tour.

It's Toronto, so you're going to have to cozy up if you're planning to Rihanna-it-up this season. Make sure you have a warm jacket, like this Ecote Faux Leather Sleeve Surplus Jacket ($99 from Urban Outfitters) - the leather detailing really helps since Riri luxes out her ensembles with black leather all the time.

Secondly, Riri has a thing for bustiers. So far, from what I've seen, she's worn either a bustier or crop top to every performance on her 777. ASOS has some great ones, like this Corset Top With Sporty Strap Back ($40.26 from ASOS.com). Her bustiers are usually not very lacy, frilly or feminine. They're a stripped down, Calvin Klein underwear sort of look. If you can score a black (faux) leather one, extra points to you. She wore one in Stockholm, as seen here:

Last, but not least, add some baggy pants. Wasn't a huge fan of the cropped cargo-looking pants she wore in Toronto, but I do dig the baggy look.  The joggers featured on the far right ($29.80 from Forever XXI) do the trick and still keep you classy. Can't go wrong with comfort.

Don't forget your red lipstick and claw-like acrylics. Then you're done.

No wait - shine bright like a diamond.

Now we're done.

The Eat Pray Love Wardrobe

It's been a long time since its release, but I finally got around to seeing Eat Pray Love the other day. If you're a travel lover or Julia Roberts fan like me, you probably have already watched this movie. Either way, I'm curious whether or not you enjoyed it. Reviews weren't all that, but it was like travel therapy for me because  I'm just craving to explore new places.

Currently working out the items I'll be taking with me on a European vacation and I found that her wardrobe was an excellent inspiration. Let's be frank here, I won't be dressing for the runway at the airport for fear of layering on what bitches wear at the airport. I also won't be dressing for the runway when I'm hiking through ruins or anxiously trying to absorb as much of Rome as I possibly can within the time I have. All of her outfits are ready-to-wear but still pretty. Perhaps it's a matter of opinion, but I didn't find any of her outfits bland. Or maybe Juila Roberts just wears everything nicely.

Now I'm psyched to start putting together some outfits with this inspiration in mind. So, key points? Comfort, practicality and a hint of romance.

Throw on a khaki anorak/jacket and BAM. All set.

Freida Pinto in Flaunt Magazine

Freida looks like she got a serious makeover.  Reminds me a liiiiittle bit of Halle Berry, but it could just be the hair. So glad to see an Indian woman with some staying power in this industry.  Especially love her makeup here.  Brown girl props.

Blake Lively on Marie Claire July 2012

No doubt she looks fantastic, but something about the cut of that blazer/skirtsuit/onesie is off.  At first I thought they were pants and I thought...whoa there, that can't be comfortable at all thanks to that button on her left.  Then I realized that there's a slit there.  Do not like.

Love the colour though.

Kristen Stewart on Elle's June Issue

I'm not a huge fan of Kristen Stewart, but she cleans up real nice for editorial shoots.  Check her out in a behind the scenes video of Elle's June photoshoot.

W Mag previously highlighted how amazing she could look if she wasn't doing this:
See below.

2012 Met Gala Red Carpet

The Costume Institute Gala, aka the Met Ball, is an annual ball that celebrates the opening of the Metropolitan Museum's fashion exhibit.  Just some of my favourites from the glamorous night.

If only I tanned like this.
Of course I would include Beyonce.
She looks so cute.
Ooh, dang.  Look what a peplum-style skirt can do for your curves.

Rihanna Goes East

By the looks of Rihanna's newer music videos, she seems to be taking a liking to the East.

Coldplay's Princess of China has very oriental styling.  Both the choreography and wardrobe choices reflect an Asian feel - obviously suitable for a song called Princess of China.  Although this is shot for different artists, Rihanna still projects and image that she carries forward to her own video.  Watch both videos below and you'll know what I mean.

Her latest release, Where Have You Been, is more tribal in nature and has scenes reminiscent of Arabia (note her harem pants) - still Eastern nonetheless.

I like that Rihanna is adding some solid choreo to her music videos (didn't see any crotch grabs in this one) and a variety of different looks.  Kind of got tired seeing her in body paint (re Umbrella,  Rockstar 101, etc.).

Beyonce's Tumblr

Beyonce recently launched her own Tumblr and there are already comments about her taking over the Internet (just Google "Beyonce and the Internet" and you'll know what I mean).  She already has three million-and-something followers on Twitter, a.k.a an immense influence on people that now will extend beyond music and videos, into the social media realm.  But honestly, I'm really excited to see her connect with fans in a different way.  Nicki Minaj almost spams my feed on Twitter and Rihanna has been known to post some saucy pictures over her network of fans as well.  With Beyonce sharing intimate, classy, and inspiring photos, I'm looking forward to seeing some more refreshing celebrity content online.

I admit it.  I am biased.  Beyonce is probably one of my all-time favourite artists.  But it is without a doubt that bloggers all over the world (including myself) will be heading to her new page for inspiration.

Eva Mendes Looks Good in Black and White

But who am I kidding? She looks good in colour too.
